BitTyrant is one selfish bit torrent client for Windows. The P2P networks are all supposed to be based on sharing. The more you share, the easiest is for everyone to get what they want. However, sometimes you just need to have something quickly. That's where BitTyrant comes to play. Somehow, it pinpoints the sources with the best upload speed and gets them to send to you. A word of caution, though, if everyone uses software like this, the whole performance of trackers will decay, and it will become extremely difficult to download at good speeds, so use it wisely. Other than the fact that it downloads faster than other bit torrent clients, BitTyrants looks and works pretty much like every other client. You download a .torrent file, open it with this application, and it will download the content to your computer. You are told what you are downloading, how fast the download is coming and more. There are graphs that tell you about the all-time statistics of your client, your current speed, etc. You can configure this client to shutdown after a successful download, or you can create your custom scripts to tell it what to do.
